Who we are
calledd is an Infinite Digits service that calls the California EDD Paid Family Leave line, navigates its opening phone menu, and connects the call to the callback number you provide at claimant intake. calledd is independent and is not affiliated with California EDD or the State of California.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to calledd@infinitedigits.co.
Information we collect
Account information
We collect your email address, a securely hashed version of your password, email-verification status, account timestamps, session information, and any account-deletion timestamp.
Support messages
When you use the private calledd inbox, we collect the message text, sender, timestamps, and unread status needed to keep your single support conversation in your account. Each customer-authored message is also delivered by Mailjet to the private calledd staff alert address. Staff replies remain in the private inbox and are delivered to your registered email address by Mailjet.
Call-request information
We collect the callback phone number you provide, the selected destination, request and attempt status, assigned caller ID, timestamps, and provider identifiers needed to place, route, retry, cancel, recover, and audit the call.
Call-processing information
Twilio streams inbound EDD audio to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text so calledd can recognize prompts and navigate the phone system. calledd does not record calls or write audio to disk. The stream stops before your connection. Restricted logs may retain the exact speech fragment that authorized a navigation or terminal action, along with related operational actions and results.
calledd does not ask for or enter your ECN, Social Security number, PIN, date of birth, account number, or other personal claim identifiers. You provide information directly to EDD after the call reaches claimant intake.
Website and analytics information
Our servers may receive standard request data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested page, referrer, and timestamps. We use a self-hosted Umami analytics service to understand page usage. We do not use this analytics data for cross-site advertising.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, verification, password recovery, private support correspondence, call requests, live status, retries, transfers, and cancellation.
- Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve calledd.
- Enforce the complimentary-request limit and prevent misuse.
- Maintain operational records, resolve incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
- Send transactional messages you request, including confirmation, password-reset, support-alert, and support-reply email.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, protect users and the service, comply with law, or complete a business transaction.
Service providers may process information on our behalf, including Twilio for telephone calls and media streams, Google Cloud for speech recognition, Mailjet for transactional email, hosting and database providers for application infrastructure, and Umami for website analytics. Destinations configured to use model-assisted phone-menu decisions may send relevant prompt text to OpenAI. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, prevent fraud or harm, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety. If Infinite Digits or calledd is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Retention and account deletion
Restricted speech and action audit records are retained for the configured retention period, which currently defaults to 365 days, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or operational reasons. Core account, request, attempt, and event records do not currently have a self-service purge schedule.
Account deletion is a soft deletion, not erasure. It disables login, revokes the password, logs out the browser, and cancels open callback work. The user row, email address, deletion timestamp, private support correspondence, and linked operational call records remain stored to preserve ownership, audit integrity, security, and the one-complimentary-request rule.
Your choices and requests
You can avoid creating an account or submitting a callback number. You can use the account page to soft-delete your registration. You may also contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights. We will evaluate requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Some information may be retained when an exception or legal obligation applies.
California privacy and browser signals
California residents may have privacy rights under applicable California law. To submit a request, email calledd@infinitedigits.co. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
calledd does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do not use personal information for cross-site behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personal information through calledd for that purpose.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
calledd is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review the situation.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or by email when appropriate.
